2010, Omega released its Speedmaster Professional Apollo-Soyuz 35th Anniversary watch. The watch has on its caseback a motif of the two spacecraft with the names of the astronauts Lieutenant General Thomas Stafford, Vance Brand and Donald K “Deke” Slayton and the cosmonauts Lieutenant General Valeri Kubasov and Alexei Leonov.

The jewelled models have bezel rings which are dramatically paved with sixty full-cut diamonds and a minute track with an additional 120 diamonds. Their cases are 18 Ct white gold. The Olympic rings have been created in diamonds (the black model) or rubies, emeralds, diamonds and sapphires (the white model).
The Apollo/Soyuz limited edition watch is an unique elegantly masculine watch from Omega’s Space Collection which features 18 jewels, a polished-brushed case, a commemorative engraving of the historic event on the back of its casing and a black aluminium ring with tachymeter scale on bezel.
Cosmonauts and astronauts wearing Omega Speedmaster, linked up and shook hands. It pays homage to the historic Apollo-Soyuz space mission. It was inorder to honour that significant and unique event in world and space history.
